is a Registered Nurse and Certified Diabetes Educator with over 20 years of extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Work within the acute care setting laid the groundwork for her passion for creating proactive clinical programs aimed at the improvement of health outcomes and quality of life for the chronically ill population.

Her mission is to continually improve the way patient-centered care is delivered with a focus on creating a collaborative, team approach between members of the care team. Her true joy has always been direct, personal interaction with patients, and her years of experience with chronic disease management have uniquely positioned her to give meaningful insight into process improvement and clinical innovation.

Akash Randhar is the CEO of MEDSOLIS. Years of management success, high performance team leadership, devising creative strategy and driving its implementation, resourcefulness, and an insightful understanding of the healthcare industry have positioned Akash well to lead an innovation driven healthcare startup.

Akash is passionate about simplification. Simplify the health puzzle for patients. Simplify decisions for care providers. Simplify interaction between clinicians. Simplify care giving for loved ones. Simplify understanding of health needs of a population. Simplify 360 degree view of a patient. For him, it is all about a drive to simplification. He brings that drive to MEDSOLIS every day. When not obsessing about simplifying MEDSOLIS products, Akash is seen reading or planning his next adventure. He loves to travel, especially for active vacations.

Jaan Sidorov M.D., M.H.S.A., chairs the Clinical Advisory Board of MEDSOLIS. He is a general internist with over 20 years’ experience in primary care, disease management and population based care coordination. 

Jaan has authored over 45 peer-reviewed publications, one of which on the electronic health record, was listed as most read by the prestigious health policy journal Health Affairs.  He has been quoted in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Consumer Reports, National Public Radio’s All Things Considered and public television’s Need to Know. He is the author of the Disease Management Care Blog that regularly reviews advances in population health and has over 5,000 regular readers. Prior to his current roles, Dr. Sidorov was a Medical Director at Geisinger Health Plan for over ten years, where his responsibilities included starting and expanding its numerous care management initiatives, as well as at Hewlett Packard where he was a Medical Director in HP’s analytics enterprise. 

Sumeet Vyas is the Director, Operations at MEDSOLIS. He has over 20 years of global industry and consulting experience managing and delivering large scale ERP, CRM, Supply chain and Business Intelligence projects. He has a strong history of working well with virtual global teams across USA, Asia and Europe. Sumeet is especially adept at understanding and managing change across different environments, which makes him well suited for delivering mission critical applications in varying client scenarios. he also excels at developing client relationships over the long term and works tirelessly towards client satisfaction. His analytical approach and keen, objective outlook along with friendly personality makes him well suited for relationship management while delivering on both company and client goals.

To deliver quality for optimal cost Sumeet is a big proponent of constant measurement, making objective monitoring one of his core strengths. He is confident under pressure while executing complex projects on time and on budget.

Craig Herrod is a member of the MEDSOLIS Board of Advisors.

Craig is the President of MEDHOST. In this role, he is responsible for MEDHOST’s consolidated software development and all Customer operations, as well as sales and marketing.

He is a tenured and well-respected healthcare industry executive, helping the company capitalize on its investments by pursuing new growth opportunities while enhancing MEDHOST’s position as an innovator and industry-leading healthcare technology products and services company.

Helene Forte Care Management.

Helene is responsible for leading clinical services and programs as well as overseeing integrated care and behavioral health management for all Tufts Health Public Plan product lines.

Prior to joining Tufts Health Plan in 2014, Helene held positions in clinical program support and engagement strategy, care advocacy and medical management for Aetna, a national health plan. She also has served as vice president of medical operations at APS Healthcare Inc., a health management organization servicing commercial, Medicaid and state employee members, and manager of health programs and manager of case management for Tufts Health Plan. She began her career as a staff nurse, and has taught classes in nursing at Mount Wachusett Community College and Montachusett Vocational School.

Helene received an M.S. in nursing from Boston University and a B.S. with a concentration in nursing from the University of Massachusetts.

Preston James V.P.

Preston has a 25-year career specific to assisting healthcare organizations implement technology that improves the lives of patients, payor organization infrastructure, and healthcare provider quality of care. He is recognized throughout the industry for his ability to build client-focused teams that create and maintain long-lasting highly valued relationships. As a senior executive, he has led sales and marketing teams with Cerner, McKesson Information Systems and SHPS/Carewise Health.

He is dedicated to identifying and refining the competitive advantages required to achieve shared organizational goals and objectives (financial, transitional, resource management, quality of care) to achieve total client satisfaction.

Preston earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Arizona State University, and attended the MBA program at the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Christopher “Kit” Gorton M.D., M.S.H.A., is a member of the MEDSOLIS Board of Advisors. Kit is an accomplished senior healthcare executive with demonstrated success in building and growing successful businesses. An ideas guy with a track record of creating paths to develop innovative products or solutions, Kit is an experienced General Manager who creates service excellence for clients while delivering profitable growth, strong market position and ROI.

Kit is known for his commitment to delivering healthcare solutions that create a demonstrable improvement of customer value for mission- driven healthcare organizations.
